License grant

After a successful purchase, Fugue grants the purchasing studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the purchased asset and system files in an unlimited number of the studio’s internal projects, subject to this license and the Terms of Service.

What you may do

  • Use the products in commercial or non-commercial games, applications, prototypes and demos.
  • Modify, combine and adapt the products as part of your project.
  • Include the products in compiled builds, trailers, screenshots and marketing materials for your project.
  • Allow your employees and authorised contractors to access the source files while working for the purchasing studio.

What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, rent, gift or redistribute the source files.
  • Publish the products as a standalone Unity package, asset pack, kitbash library, marketplace listing or competing product.
  • Share the files with a client, studio or team that did not make the purchase.
  • Use the products to build a directly competing asset library or to train a model that reproduces the products.

Ownership and third parties

Fugue and its licensors retain ownership of the products, source files, documentation, names and artwork. This license gives usage rights only. Unity and other third-party names remain the property of their respective owners.

Updates and compatibility

Your account retains access to the purchased product and reasonable bug fixes or compatible updates. We do not promise compatibility with every future Unity release, renderer, operating system or third-party package.

Transfer and termination

This license is tied to the purchasing studio and may not be transferred without Fugue’s written consent. A merger, acquisition or sale of substantially all studio assets may require a license review.

We may terminate this license if you materially breach it. On termination, stop using the source files and remove them from active project repositories, while compiled releases already distributed may continue to be supported.
